We at Blue Arrow, are excited to be working with our prestigious client to recruit for a talented and dedicated Sous chef.

Our client is a well renowned 4 star hotel on the West Coast of Scotland, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a remote location.

The Sous Chef plays an integral role in the kitchen. You will be responsible for managing the team in an organised fashion and ensuring that consistency is maintained whilst setting the tone for a fun and professional environment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-pressured environment, and have previous experience in a high end hotel or restaurant.

Due to our client's requirements, it is imperative that candidates have a proven track record of stable employment.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen
  • Directing chefs in all aspects of the kitchen from cooking to the high quality presentation of culinary dishes
  • Enforcing all health and hygiene standards within the kitchen
  • Be the point of contact for staff and to assist with any trouble-shooting
