What is the Total Rewards team responsible for?

Responsible for ensuring the organization has market competitive and cost effective Total Reward policies and practices, through the provision of compensation and benefits consultancy services to specific lines of business and / or locations.

Proactively reviews, develops, and implements Total Reward solutions and policies, to support Franklin Templeton’s people and business strategies, ensuring compliance with local legislative or regulatory requirements and / or market practice.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Senior Total Rewards Consultant?

  • Provides proactive consultation and analysis support on complex compensation issues for assigned global client groups
  • Plays a lead role in Job Evaluation, Annual Incentive Plan Reviews, Job Matches, and making recommendations in relation to client initiated issues
  • Responsible for complex benefit issues such as managing relationships and designing new solutions
  • Proactively offers advice and solutions on how to ensure compensation practices are competitive, up to date, and compliant with Legislation
  • Reviews and validates submissions of data for regular and ad-hoc salary and benefits surveys and matching roles
  • Guides and drives the Annual Review of the internal salary structures by analyzing market data trends and making recommendations for any changes to the structures
  • Partners with HR Business Partners and clients to review internal positioning and potential year-end strategies for allocation of awards
  • Takes a lead role in and drives department or Client Group projects and initiatives
  • Advises on monetary / financial components, showing impact on employee groups and their Compensation / AIP, forecasting, different scenarios, using industry and Total Reward knowledge for research to provide meaningful results
  • What qualifications,skills and experience wouldhelp someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Required)
  • Professional in Human Resources - World At Work (Preferred)
  • Professional in Human Resources - CIPD (Preferred)
  • Strong experience in a similar rewards role
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry developments, market trends, products & techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
