We are looking for a procurement professional with category management experience in construction MEP, to achieve and support a more effective procurement process to deliver quality and best value across the Mace Construction portfolio.
You will be responsible for the management of strategic agreements and relationships across all levels of the MEP supply chain.
Your responsibilities will include :
Managing and developing supplier performance across the Mace business, directing supply chain due diligence, mapping and development to support the delivery of the overall project procurement strategy of the business units.
Directing internal and external stakeholder management across the MEP category of spend.
Developing key practices and process to enable an effective / profitable business.
Ensuring goods / materials are purchased in line with business unit operational needs, in regard to price certainty, quality, delivery and sustainability.
Supervising the procurement activity and supply chain engagement for business units to match procurement outcomes to top-line strategy.
Managing the end-to-end process of materials in / out (including lead times, stock levels) to ensure effective material demand planning and forecasting alongside day-to-day supply chain management and factory engagement.
Working with projects and suppliers to reduce on-site storage, including phased delivery with improved accurate lead times.
