We are currently recruiting band 6 nurses to join our friendly and committed Paediatric Emergency Department at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Leytonstone.

If you have experience in paediatric emergency care we can provide an educational program to enhance your skills and facilitate development of your career.

As a team focused on service enhancement and patient care, we are rejuvenating our services through a program of structural change currently being undertaken, including creation of a paediatric assessment unit within children s A&E.

Ideally, candidates will have completed an emergency care qualification and have experience of working at band 5 within a children s emergency care setting, although the Emergency Care Qualification could be provided for the right candidate.

You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, be self- motivated and ready to develop your management skills within a supportive, empowering department.

Come and be part of this exciting period where your thoughts and ideas around Emergency Care provision for children can be shared and explored, and experience first-

hand change management on a large scale as an active contributor.

The Care Quality Commission has recognised the significant improvements made at Whipps Cross in their latest visit and the 2018 Staff Survey results showed staff have seen many improvements in their working lives.

With our passionate staff and commitment to safe and compassionate care, we know Whipps Cross will keep getting better and better.

We’d love you to join us on our journey to good and outstanding. Come and be part of the Whipps Cross family where you can make a difference.
