MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The Sales & Education Manager will drive growth across all retail accounts through inspirational leadership, captivating education and detailed event execution.
The Sales & Education Manager is responsible for ensuring all Brand representative are educated on the Kate Somerville brand philosophy and Kate Somerville Skincare products.
Working with store Business manager’s and Brand Specialists to plan and execute in store trainings and events to maximise brand awareness and gain market share.
The Sales & Education Manager will implement the highest level of customer service through product knowledge and sales ability and be self-
motivated and work as a team player. They will act as a key ambassador for Kate Somerville Skincare.
Lead a team of highly effective and motivated brand specialists, in store and in the field.
Achieve and exceed sales targets, as agreed with UK Director
Coordinate weekly and monthly sales information and communicate performance to UK Director
Deliver a strong calendar of events for the UK market, encouraging collaboration and sharing best practice with the wider business.
Maintain a strong knowledge of skincare and beauty trends
Build strong relationships with Key personnel in all accounts
Regular visits to key accounts
Implement initiatives to develop accounts and drive sales
Negotiate prime space in store
Communicate OOS with Kate Somerville HQ team
Deliver quarterly education seminars / events to ensure all teams are educated on brand updates and innovation
Train in store when required
Demonstrate the efficacy of Kate Somerville skincare through live events and workshops.
Arranging counter activity and dual sites where possible to drive sales and footfall
Prepare and execute exciting events in store which result in contribution to sales targets
Organise time effectively and forward plan store visits to maximise profit potential
Build strong relationships with instore staff and store management
Use technical knowledge and selling skills to influence customers and assist them in choosing the right products to ensure their continued loyalty
Proactively identify challenges with a solution driven attitude
Reporting OOS to line manager and notify in store management
Ensure high merchandising standards are maintained e.g planograms adhered to, testers available and clean and in date, POS on shelf, pricing tickets in situ (where applicable)
Extensive travel throughout the designated territory, for regions outside of London this will required a full driving licence.

Proven experience in sales and achieving / exceeding targets.
Evidence of growing accounts through education and event activation.
Luxury beauty sales / skincare experience essential.
Experience working in a fast-paced competitive sales environment an advantage.
Experience delivering educational events and workshops to large groups of people an advantage.
NVQ level 3 Beauty Therapy an Advantage but not essential.
Strong interpersonal, numeracy and organisational skills.
Excellent team player.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Flexibility required during peak trade and weekends.
Excellent grooming standards.
