Staffline is currently looking for Team Leaders on behalf of our Client based in Lower Broadheath, Worcester to join their production team and to provide support and guidance to a designated work area, and ensure efficient and effective production of products.
Our Client is a leading manufacturer of branded and own label chilled bakery products, cream cakes, hot puddings and desserts.
Experience of working in a similar environment.

Ensure line operatives are correctly dressed at all times, in accordance with Company rules and H&S policy and procedure.
Ensure areas and equipment are cleaned down properly at breaks and shift changeover in accordance with Company H&S and Hygiene policy and procedures.
Ensure all breaks and changeovers are properly controlled to ensure optimum production efficiency and in accordance with company H&S policy.
Maintain housekeeping standards of your line and surrounding area in accordance with Company H&S and hygiene standards.
Stock control / maximise production / stock efficiency. Maintain ingredients and packaging stocks to suitable levels.
Liaise with colleagues in all departments to ensure all orders are produced in a timely manner.
Be aware of line performance with regard to wastage, time and plan achievement
Ensure that CCP control is carried out and recorded.
Ensure GMP standards are adhered to at all times.
Quality control - Ensure products are made to specification and in accordance with method of manufacturing guidelines.
Manage deployment of staff - ensure all staff are fully utilised for the complete shift.
People management / development / induction - lead, train and develop staff on your line, and ensure training is carried out with new operatives.
Attend staff meetings and training as required and carry out business briefings with your direct reports as required.
Ensure that product is manufactured to the required quality and legality standards as set out by the company as well as maintaining basic food hygiene practice.
At all times to be aware and observant of Health & Safety Regulations.
OTHER DUTIES Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the post and its grading as requested by the SHIFT manager or Head of Department / Division.
QUALIFICATIONS Certificate in Food Hygiene.4 GCSEs grade C or above, or equivalent.
