Job Summary

This position will be responsible for providing primary onsite and remote IT support to employees in BioLegend’s London and Amsterdam offices and its remote workers.

Additional support duties may include remote assistance to employees located at other BioLegend sites. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and detail oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.

This position will report in to IT Operations management within the US.

Essential Functions

  • Provide basic support for Windows PCs / laptops, printers, telephones and other IT infrastructure.
  • Respond to IT request tickets in a timely manner.
  • Perform IT asset management activities (inventory tracking, distribution, etc.).
  • Support IT hardware and software procurement process.
  • Responsible for the new employee and termination process which includes : Management of accountsEquipment / Desk setupArchiving data + recovery of equipment.
  • Use problem solving skills to fix software and hardware issues
  • Provide timely and responsive first level triage, including troubleshooting and correction of IT infrastructure and key application-related operational issues;
  • Escalate issues and work with U.S.-based IT support team, when and as required.

  • Manage warranty services onsite and work with third-party vendors.
  • Assist colleagues with global Infrastructure projects and tasks where needed.
  • Conduct training sessions on newly implemented technologies to educate staff when needed.
  • Support all processes relating to local Infrastructure, change management, and collaborate with IT-Infrastructure for standardized processes.
  • Comply with and perform duties in manner consistent with all applicable organizational policies, procedures and controls.
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
