Expleo are currently supporting the recruitment for an EV Automotive OEM based in the Coventry area.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities :
You will work across the business including testing and development of Vehicles and Rigs, also Designing Rigs / Fixtures and Components within the Vehicle Development team.
The Role
Design of components and assemblies for design analysis and evaluation.
Design of rigs for testing of components or systems.
Design of fixtures for build.
Produce component and assembly level drawings.
Involvement in vehicle testing activities including objective measurement.
Assist with vehicle preparation for testing and development.
Support data acquisition systems including installation, data analysis and distribution.
Produce test reports and report back to the business on the status and progression of the attribute performance.
Vehicle and rig testing support as required.
Work cross-functionally with different areas of the business.
Be willing to share information and to collaborate with our internal and external customers.
Requirements
You will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant area with at least 2 years of industry experience.
Desirable to have experience with vehicle testing including data logging and processing.
Demonstrable experience in a CATIA V5 environment (assembly, surfacing, part design and drafting).
Driving experience in OEM vehicle programs.
Objective measurement experience.
Be familiar with OEM product development systems.
Desirable to have experience in HV systems.
A creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to resolve issues and innovate where required.
Good initiative, with the ability to manage own time and priorities.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal and aural), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams within the organisation.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office tools.
Full driving licence is essential.
