About the role

  • As a Childrens Community Support Worker you will support the individuals to build their communication skills through your interactions with them.
  • You will support the individuals to engage in sensory activities and enjoy new experiences
  • As a Childrens Community Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose
  • You will support individuals and encourage them to make choices, to express themselves, live as independently as possible and run their own lives as much as possible
  • There is always an opportunity to work additional hours supporting other services.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexible approach to situations
  • Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
