Digital Learning Specialist
To support the use of digital technologies used within the Engineering Academy, ensuring that they are utilised to best support our customer needs and supporting the overall business strategy.
You will have an understanding of technologies and methodologies that can be used to evolve and support the Academy's digital transition.
Online learning will be a core focus particularly how it can be used to enhance learner interaction and experience.

Support Line Manager with the implementation of digital projects and demonstrating where they add value and what the potential return on investment will be.
Seek to create new and different ways of delivering the Engineering Academy portfolio of services, utilising digital forms of learning.
Digital content authoring.
Provide ongoing support for new technologies implemented.
Manage peer expectations for the mutual benefit of delivering new technologies to support business needs.
Keep abreast of customer strategies and technical learning needs, through existing customer engagement plan.
Seek to utilise modern technologies to facilitate learning
Support Uniper colleagues in utilising digital platforms for the development of new courses that support future customer needs.
Engage Academy team members in the benefits and opportunities of digital applications.
Collate information on learning technologies and provide report data
Ensure compliance of group learning policy
Keep up to date with latest technologies and trends affecting learning methodologies
Seek feedback on own performance and take responsibility for driving personal development.
Experience of supporting learning using technology, ideally in a professional or work-based education environment.
Good understanding of the latest developments in digital technology
Ability to think creatively and recommend new ideas to deliver new technologies within the Engineering Academy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Competent MS office application skills and knowledge
Committed to delivering high standards to meet customer requirements.
Ability to recommend and work within business policy, protocols and guidelines.
Knowledge / experience of Cloud solutions
Enjoys working as part of a team and equally comfortable to work on own
Must have a full EU / UK driving licence.
Desirable : Previous experience of working on Gomo Authoring software
Experience of implementing change programmes
