Job Purpose :
Assist the portfolio manager in managing the impact investing portfolios
Perform day-to-day support activities including cash management, FX, trade instruction post-IC approval, performance attribution, reporting, impact measurement, research and analysis
Perform monitoring on the portfolio and input to sourcing and pipeline
Liaise with internal stakeholders including risk, compliance, operations
Portfolio Manager :
Assist the portfolio manager in all day-to-day PM activities. Across the Impact and Healthcare PE Fund range this will include :
Cash management, FX, trade instruction post-IC approval, capital drawdowns / distributions
Stress testing
Performance attribution & impact measurement
Fund / investment monitoring
Pipeline Management
Impact Investing and Healthcare PE Team (Sustainable Private Asset Group) :
Support the team in sourcing, meeting management, database maintenance, analysis and investment recommendations
Internal Stakeholder Management :
Liaise with all internal stakeholders including risk, compliance, legal, operations, audit and build effective working relationships and processes
Project Management :
Assist in co-ordinating projects in the impact investing team including new product development; process improvement; system implementation
Business Development :
Assist PSU, portfolio managers and sales in preparation of presentation material
Your Profile
Experience working within Private Markets is essential
deal sourcing; analysis and portfolio construction
Demonstrated multiple stakeholder management in a large financial services firm
Previous exposure to, and a strong interest in, the impact investment sector
Ability to bring new ideas to the investment process
Entrepreneurial attitude and highly motivated individual
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Dedication to building long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable communicating with all stakeholder levels internally and externally
Self-starter with the ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Experience in asset management and relevant University degree
