You will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment on a 4-on-4-off shift basis (2 days / 2 nights). You will be expected to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and services associated with a major bakery.
Responsibilities also involve improving and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring that team members are fully aware and comply with all Health & Safety standards, company and legal requirements e.g. COSH, HACCP.
You will be a time served electrical engineer, preferably with food manufacturing experience and cross or multi skilled trained.
PLC experience would also be beneficial. You will be an enthusiastic, motivated individual who believes that they can make a difference and develop into this crucial role and ensure our engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
