NHBC has an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Contractor covering the South West, Devon / Somerset area.

An opportunity has arisen for an additional Health & Safety Contractor to join our Approved Contractors Register to assist the Health & Safety team in the above area.
Within your area / region, your duties will include undertaking H&S site inspections and associated site based activities (including reviewing of Safety Registers, RAMs, CPP etc.
using NHBC internal templates.
In order to be eligible for the role as one of our Health & Safety Contractors you will have experience in the delivery of H&S Services and, ideally, will have a background in the construction / building industry.
You must hold Tech IOSH status as a minimum. It is essential that you are organised and methodical with an ability to contribute to the delivery of high quality and effective Health & Safety advice to a nationally consistent standard.
You must also have a high degree of interpersonal skills and provide own transport and IT equipment (mobile phone, tablet and portable printer).
Health & Safety Contractor fees will be negotiable as a site inspection fixed rate and contractors will be required to invoice monthly for work completed via a Limited company.
This is not a full time role and number and frequency of Site Inspections cannot be guaranteed.
