Electromechanical Design Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge

A fast-growing, innovative medical devices firm based in Cambridges are looking to expand their R&D division by bringing on board an experienced Mechanical Engineers and Electronics Engineers to take lead on electromechanical systems design.

This exciting new role will give the Electromechanical Design Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of the medical devices sector alongside some of the brightest minds in the field.

This position will also encompass leadership within the team but will remain very much a hands-on role focused on the design and development of complex electromechanical systems and instrumentation.

Your focus will be on rapid development for clinical trials of the device to meet critical and ambitious milestones for this well-funded start-up.

As well as leading the development of the systems you will also have the opportunity to shape future research and development programmes and held build a new product from the ground up.

We are looking for people who have significant electromechanical design experience with a deep understanding of mechanical design, electronics, and schematic design.

This will be coupled with a passion for medical devices and technology that aims to improve people's lives.
