  • What’s the role?

    The Financial Director is a pivotal member of the Cudoni’s leadership team and plays a critical role in driving the achievement of Cudoni’s mission and assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the company.

    The Financial Director will be responsible for directing operational and financial management encompassing accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, legal, deal analysis and negotiations.

    In this role, the Financial Director will work closely with the CEO on day-to-day operational, strategic and financial issues and will be responsible for overall company performance and effectiveness.

    We are looking for a professional individual with a proven track record as a successful finance director to be based in our London office.

    This role reports directly to the CEO of Cudoni.

    What responsibilities can you expect?

  • Provide commercial financial support to the CEO, and serve as a key support for Cudoni business leaders.
  • Provide financial leadership and assist in driving the Company’s performance and profitability.
  • Develop budgeting & forecasting processes; maintain the accuracy and reliability of the control framework around the accounting systems and preparation of the financial statements.
  • Develop financial reporting, management information, insightful analysis and interpretation for the management.
  • Operate a strong corporate control environment, accurate accounting records & efficient processes.
  • Provide sound commercial financial advice & analysis to the senior managers within the business.
  • Ensure that all transactions are processed efficiently within a secure and controlled environment. Implement & maintain a robust system of financial controls & processes and ensure the integrity of all accounting records.
  • Ensure that effective credit control procedures are operating within the business.
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly management / financial reporting and preparation of all Cudoni reporting requirements to parent company.
  • Develop solid communication between the business and outside agencies (governmental, corporate lawyers, auditors, agents and other parties) to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and any other commitments that the company may undertake.
  • Ensure that all local financial and legal regulations are complied with.

  • Liaise with the auditors and management of the interim and year-end audit processes.
  • What skills and qualities do we require?

  • A strong commercial business background with an understanding of key business processes and drivers.
  • Bachelor's Degree plus additional accounting qualification.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, financial statements, budget and forecasting processes and internal control procedures.
  • Knowledge of the statutory requirements for financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Good level of computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel and related software).
  • Build strong relationships with senior management & non-financial staff.
