Spectrum Community Health CIC are seeking a Project Officer to work alongside the Step Up Programme, Wakefield Council’s flagship employment and skills service providing support into employment for those aged over 16 and out of work or in work looking for skills development and promotion or a career change.
The role will work to improve co-ordination of Health and Social Care recruitment across the Wakefield District, identifying and reducing duplication and developing innovative and collaborative System-wide opportunities.
This role will align to the ambition of the Wakefield Integrated Care Partnership Local People Plan Growing Our Workforce and Developing Our People’ and Wakefield Council’s Learning City Strategy (Employment and Skills), with progress and risks regularly reported back to senior strategic leaders.
This role will be embedded into the Wakefield Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) Workforce Programme Management Office and the successful individual will work closely with the Wakefield ICP Recruitment Group and Health and Social Care employers across the Wakefield District.
They will also link with local training providers regarding skills training, and with Wakefield Council’s Children and Young People, Regeneration and Economic Growth and Adult Social Care Teams.
To be considered for this role, you should have experience of successfully delivering projects, evidencing your ability to deliver projects to agreed timescales and within budgets.
You will have excellent communication skills as the role will work with partner organisations and it will be vital to develop string working relationships.
