The Business Applications Manager has a responsibility to deliver, maintain and support a range of applications from smaller niche business specific solutions to multi discipline applications such as Retail / CRM / E-

Commerce based initiatives or Back-Office.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and deliver the Business Applications operational support and enhancements, to improve internal and external client experience through analysis, review and change to IT processes and services.
  • Engage with the Head of IT and the wider business to manage the large and dynamic pipeline of solutions delivered to multiple stakeholder groups -
  • business, clients & IT stakeholders

  • Take ownership and responsibility of key IT applications that are supported by the Business including the support and upgrade roadmap
  • Stay abreast of platform enhancements and in new technologies and assist in the assessment of the suitability of these solutions ensuring they are aligned to our environment and business strategy
  • Ensure that the business applications adhere to our standards including project methodology, environmental controls and testing strategies
  • Work with the relevant third party teams to support the development and continuous improvement of :
  • Application and data architectures that are aligned to the business strategies and direction
  • The delivery of solutions that fit within IT architectures and meet business purpose
  • Manage external vendors to strict SLAs and be vigorous in dealing with any issues
  • Manage the operational issues supporting the IT solutions deployed ensuring appropriate responsibilities are managed effectively including the support responsibilities of our third parties.
  • Motivate and foster creativity, communication and team working within the IT department and wider organisation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement by challenging what can be improved upon and promoting efficiencies
  • Prepare budget and manage the expenditure against all projects
  • What you need to have :

    You are graduated with a University degree, a Master engineering diploma or an equivalent diploma. You have at least 3 years of working experience in an IT department.

    You have developed a good knowledge of the Project management methodologies. You have a real experience in Retail, CRM omni canal & Digital.

    The knowledge of the Perfumes & Cosmetics is a real asset.
