Along with other members of the IT support team, this role will take on a senior position for monitoring the performance of the computers and network equipment that comprises of the infrastructure, quickly restore service whenever IT systems have failed and analyse any deep-rooted problems that have caused failures.
In addition, the role is responsible for responding to and resolving incidents and service requests assigned to you by the IS Service Desk in line with service levels.
With experience in providing technical support services in a large dispersed organisation, you will have in depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems and hardware.
An excellent communicator, you will also have a methodical approach with the ability to prioritise effectively and work accurately under pressure.
Experience with supporting Apple devices, , network equipment and Microsoft Exchange i would be an advantage.
