The incumbent will be responsible for all EU commercial distribution and will manage Third Party Logistics Provider(s) (3PL).

They will ensure that agreements are in place with key wholesalers and will manage interactions on a day-to-day basis.They will also work with Zogenix commercial on policies, promotions, channel management, forecasts and data analysis.

Negotiate and execute (3PL) Distribution Services Agreement and Operating Guidelines Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics.

Support internal (Finance, Commercial Analytics, Sales, Trade) and external customers (Wholesalers). Consult with Commercial Operations in the negotiation and execution of Wholesaler Service Agreements Work in conjunction with Commercial and SCO to develop, implement and monitor order fill rates, cash applications, chargebacks, returns Develop Wholesaler distribution, customer service and accounts receivable procedures.

Point of contact for finance and 3PL finance department for Accounts Receivable processes Monitor Wholesaler Fee for Service Agreements to ensure contractual and financial obligations are being adhered to.

Monitor and report Wholesaler service metrics (inventory levels and fill rates) Manage return levels and Wholesaler policy compliance, communicate any business issues identified Resolve customer issues with minimal supervision.

Determine when it is appropriate to escalate customer issues to management Demand Management Manages Wholesaler allocations and appropriate inventory levels of safety stock 3PL inventory management.

Work closely with Commercial, local General Managers and Manufacturing on 3PL inventory levels to avoid Wholesaler stock out situations Work with within Supply Chain to ensure appropriate inventory levels to fill Trade and Sample forecast Represent Supply Chain on commercial project teams and external meetings Document work practices and policies.

Travel from 25-50%. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 15+ years in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals or Biologics distribution.

7+ years experience with inventory management systems, and commercial supply operations. Working knowledge of financial compliance.

General understanding of cGMP and other relevant regulations. Strong background in customer relations and service. English and German language
