My client is looking for a driven Team Manager to join their established team of professionals and look to progress their career with this supported living role in Camden.

I am looking for a highly skilled, proactive and resilient Team Manager for our bespokely adapated supported living service in the Heysham Area.

This service has been developed to meet the needs of people with complex care needs including those with a Learning Disability, Autism and those who display behaviours which can challenge and those with Forensic needs and risks.

The role will be to support the Registered Manager and staff team to deliver the highest standards of care and support, enabling service users to enjoy wellbeing, quality of life, and community connections.

You will be responsible for leading practice development and delivery across the service and your role will include :

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead an established team of support staff
  • Implement and maintain standards set out by CQC
  • Deal with recruitment and retention of staff
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Requirements

  • Must have experience with Supported Living
  • At least three years prior experience of supporting people with a learning disability and complex behaviours
  • Must have previous management experience
  • Be willing to engage in training to improve your knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support
  • NVQ Level 4 / 5 in health and social care or leadership and management or above (or at least working towards)
  • Additional Social work or nursing qualifications would be a bonus but are not essential
  • IT literate
  • Salary £25,000 £27,000
