Our client are leading provider of services to the Telecoms, Utilities, Highways and Civil Engineering infrastructure sectors throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth they are looking to secure the services of a skilled and proven Head of Planning Measures to manage the planning and measurement teams to ensure works are accurately planned, priced and payment application submitted.
Manage the planning team activities to ensure works are accurately planned, priced and payment application submitted in line with client contractual requirements and key service level agreements (SLAs) minimising excess WIP.
Manage the Measure team activities for both main build and BAU works to ensure an effective way of working is in place to prevent duplication, provision of accurate and timely measures that are used for billing and payments.
Quality measures for Operations to be in place for site close down minimising additional defect costs.
Manage the close down of sites, taking ownership of reporting and providing visibility of defects, costs and plan for corrections that minimise expose for the business
Ensure works are executed in line with the planned works with deviations captured and appropriately invoiced to protect the projected margin.
Regular review of deviations and root cause conducted with actions in place.
Able to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
Able to manage own workload and others dealing with conflicting priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
Proactive approach to resolving problems taking an objective approach to understanding lessons that can be learnt when things don’t go to plan.
Review scheduling of work to planning team.
Production of on-time accurate reporting as required.
Qualifications / Experience
Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in communications industry.
In depth knowledge of the telecoms market
