Hours : Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm with every other Saturday Morning.
Our client, an auto repair shop based in Bristol, is currently looking to recruit a Service Advisor to work within their front of house.
You will provide a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all job functions and tasks are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities :
Responding positively to all customer telephone / face to face and email enquiries and ensuring the customer is fully aware of the range of products and services our client offers.
Keeping customers informed and up-to-date at every stage, you’ll advise of completion times as well as any unfortunate delays and respond quickly to questions and queries.
Answering customers’ questions regarding technical problems, warranties, services and repairs in a manner that is easily understood and without excessive technical jargon.
Meeting and greeting customers, completing job cards with their relevant information and uploading it onto the system before passing onto the foreman to delegate the workload.
Checking job cards for accurate completion from technicians and producing the invoice from such information. Explaining the content of the invoice to the customer.
Dealing with all bookings and appointments and ensuring they are managed efficiently.
Liaising with the service manager to ensure workshop loading suits diary bookings.
Arranging customers drop off and collection requirements or arranging alternative courtesy transport where necessary.
Ordering parts from suppliers with regards to the jobs being carried out and ensuring we get the best price available.
Being confident with computer systems and once shown being able to use different packages (Autodata) and websites to
process jobs (1link / NSN / Master-serve).
Ensuring the office / reception / coffee area is clean, tidy and suitable for customers at all times
Keeping customer details accurate and up to date.
Appropriately dealing with parts as and when they arrive.
Processing Warranty Claims.
Assisting with the Manager and Finance Manager where needed.
What they are looking for :
A strong focus on providing the best possible customer service so experience gained from a customer facing role is essential
Experience gained from within the motor trade is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and develop and maintain strong working relationships
A flexible approach to time-keeping so customer satisfaction can always be ensured.
Has an honest and diligent approach to work.
Being able to multi task and work well under pressure.
Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details.
Someone who uses their own initiative.
20 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Required experience / certifications :
Motor Trade preferred but not essential : 1 year
A full and valid UK driving licence is essential
