  • HKA’s Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team continue to excel and grow and is now becoming established in Europe.

    We pride ourselves on our reputation for quality forensic analysis and Expert Witness services which are at the forefront of our industry.

    As a result of the continued success of our Expert Services business we are looking to expand the Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team by recruiting a talented Accountant to be part of our growth.

    THE ROLE

    Are you a Newly Qualified Accountant that has enjoyed their career to date in Audit, Transaction Advisory or Corporate Finance however feel like you have hit that milestone?

    You will be responsible for :

  • Leading sections of large engagements and running smaller engagements
  • Managing interactions with clients
  • Drafting expert reports
  • Financial and statistical analysis, and directing and reviewing the analysis of junior members of staff
  • Performing business valuations, including use of relevant software tools for research and analyzing data
  • Communicate results and work product as appropriate to Partner and clients
  • Managing junior members of staff
  • Performing business development activities and attending networking events

    Job Requirements

  • Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or similar
  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a recognised consulting environment such as Audit, Forensic Services, Valuations, Transaction Services
  • Experience in Forensic Accounting and Valuations with exposure to disputes is highly desirable
  • Genuine interest in forensic accounting is required.
  • An ability to work to meet deadlines, sometimes under tight timeframes.
  • Commitment to undertaking high quality analysis with strong problem solving and attention to detail
  • A strategic thinker who is comfortable working through ambiguity
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • A respected team play
