Key Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the monitoring the work of developers and contractors for compliance with approved documentation, specification and planning, you will also act as a first point of contact for developers and contractors during the construction phase for work associated with new streets proposed to be adopted by the County Council.

You will be involved in monitoring the works on the Highway for operational safety, including traffic management.

What do we need from you?

  • Experience of highway engineering
  • Currently working as a supervisor of highway works at site level
  • Understanding of Safety at Street Works and Road Works 9 (a code of practice)
  • Working knowledge of CDM
