Key responsibilities :

  • Own the Brand P&L and maximise the marketing budget and impact
  • Develop and deliver a strategy that translates into ideas, content and experiences that communicate the brand in exciting, distinctive and strategic ways -
  • including but not limited to direct-to-consumer sales and a potential subscription model

  • Identify, evaluate and develop relationships with influencers, brand partnerships and new channels that enhance and support the brand idea, values and point of difference
  • Own the social channels, expanding reach and engagement to deliver business results as well as continually tracking and proactively adjusting activity and initiating ideas to meet business needs and targets
  • Manage campaign effectiveness setting clear campaign objectives and continually monitoring results and proactively identifying opportunities
  • Business and web analytics tracking and competitive monitoring / analysis
  • Own and maximise the marketing budget
  • Review generation and auditing ensuring Customer Service delivers to brand standards and consumer expectations.
  • Develop the brand using ideas, inspiration and opportunities from a wide range of sources.
  • Cultivate and encourage a culture of innovation in the wider business around brand, product and packaging
  • Key attributes sought :

  • Demonstrable commercial success at a high growth eCommerce brand
  • Proven experience in creating powerful brand strategies and tangible tools to support them
  • Demonstrable success in initiating and delivering campaigns to deliver measurable and sustainable business results in line with targets
  • Prior experience building brands from scratch would be helpful but not essential (working in / with a start-up would be a definite plus)
  • Highly creative with ability to think out of the box to devise solutions to problems through creative communications
  • Worked independently and through agencies / freelance designers and photographers to create and evolve ideas to gain best creative output
  • A passion and appreciation for good design and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management and communications skills
  • Strong teamwork and partnering skills for cross team collaboration
  • Sound analytical ability and able to interpret data through analysis tools
  • Working knowledge of Google AdWords, analytics, webmaster tools and ability to analyse web statistics and advertising ROI
  • Degree educated in Business / Marketing / Communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience
