Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are currently seeking Healthcare Assistant to provide care and support to a male who sustained a spinal injury and has other complex health needs.

We are looking to employ carers who are passionate about giving the best care they can, promoting independence, and enhancing our Service User’s quality of life.

You would become an essential part of his existing care team in this fulfilling and exciting role.

About the Care Assistant role :

Hourly Rate :

  • £10.50 / hour £11.50 / hour Monday to Friday (days and nights);
  • £11.50 / hour £12.00 / hour Weekends (days and nights)
  • Location : Halifax
  • Shifts Available : 0730 1930 Days & 1930 0730 Nights Monday to Sunday
  • Speciality : Complex Care
  • Contract Type : Full-Time and Part-Time
  • Start Date : On completion of the recruitment process
  • Theory and practical training will be provided to ensure you have the correct skills to support this individual. This will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, develop your career, and experience exciting things.

  • What are your duties as a Care Assistant?

  • Supporting and maintaining all clinical needs such as Bowel management, Catheter Care, Tracheostomy Care, Ventilator monitoring and Cough Assist
  • Able to support in Moving and Handling & Personal Care
  • To be respectful and maintain professional boundaries
  • Someone who will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package
  • Willing to go on holidays
  • Computer literacy MacBook and able to use a smartphone
  • Flexible to care in Emergency
  • Applicant requirements :

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in care
  • Able to work in the UK and can show documents
  • Full enhanced DBS
  • Clean full driving licence
  • Up to date CV
