NCFE Apprenticeship Services is an approved End Point Assessment Organisation (approved by Education and Skills Funding Agency -

ESFA) to deliver end-point assessment across a range of Apprenticeship standards. Our primary goal is to drive the quality of apprenticeships by : -

The Assessment Officer will write material to support the Apprenticeship end point assessment journey, be responsible for the design, development, and performance of valid and reliable assessment tools such as writing valid multiple choice questions and developing grading criteria within NCFE’s Apprenticeship Services Team.

You will ensure that assessments developed by the Apprenticeship Services brand are appealing to Apprentices, Employers and Independent Training Providers and are manageable for those delivering the end-

point assessments. The Assessment Officer will contribute to ensuring compliance with all regulatory conditions relating to End Point Assessment.

You will have a high level of attention detail and be accuracy orientated. A self-motivator who is passionate about making a difference in the field of further education.

An organised individual with the ability to flex across demands and manage deadlines. Experience of assessment design and curriculum design principles Experience of mapping occupational standards to learning and assessment activity Knowledge of current developments in education and assessment Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and issues within an education context Track record working with Awarding Organisations which offer external assessment Knowledge of apprenticeship reform and end point assessment Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling Demonstrable word processing, data entry, spreadsheet and email To achieve the ambitious levels of organisational performance that we’re striving for, we have high expectations of each and every one of our talented colleagues.
