Job Summary .
The Langham, London is currently looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. Reporting into the Director of Marketing Communications, you will be tasked with managing and contributing to all matters relating to social media communication across a range of platforms and maintaining positive online reputation of The Langham, London.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Strategy and Goal Setting : Define a social media communications strategy supporting wider sales and marketing objectives of the hotel and its outlets, Develop goals distinct for each outlet and each platform;
encompassing audience profile, reach and engagement, Having a dedicated influencer identification and ambassador strategy, Being able to differentiate appropriate target audiences, Boost positive brand awareness.
Content Creation : Develop a content calendar for each platform to overreach commercial objectives of the hotel, but to also position the team behind the outlets suitably, Have an excellent understanding of different users’ engagement on different platforms, Being exceptionally skilled in visual branding in order to produce high quality photography and short videos to engage audiences.
Community Management : Monitoring responses and engaging as appropriate to strengthen brand’s profile, Engage with existing brand ambassadors but also target and gain the support of other industry leaders, media and key lifestyle influencers, Filter and action enquiries from online influencers, Reputation management.
Employer Branding : Working alongside the director of marketing communications to create engaging and on-brand content to support the reputation of The Langham, London.

previous experience of working in a social media role within hospitality or luxury goods and services environment (this is essential)
previous experience in strategic social media communications planning & analysis, influencer management and luxury segment branding
strong writing skills ability to write with fluency, accuracy and clarity for a range of different audiences
excellent visual branding skills
ability to forge positive working relationships across the business and work collaboratively with other teams
an understanding of the luxury consumer mindset
an academic qualification related to social media management (communications, journalism, or marketing)
