Group Test manager is a key role within CSA >

Corporate Programmes organization responsible for driving Nucleus testing strategy definition and implementation for new markets rollout.

This role must oversee the overall test management practice and ensure alignment with existing Nuclues Global Testing strategy.

Group Test Manager has to drive and manage the test and acceptance at project level covering Unit Testing, Integration Testing (IIT), Product testing, Performance Acceptance Testing, User Acceptance and Regression Testing wherever is required.

Provide assurance of Governance across all required test phases and adherence to acceptance protocol to guarantee solution and data quality, operational readiness within agreed KPIs.

Work together with the Data Quality team to test / measure the condition of the data based on factors such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, reliability, referential integrity.

Job Responsibility

Key activities will include :

  • Accountable for Nucleus programme test approach, overall test plan, test roles and responsibilities matrix definition. Overall testing governance at programme level
  • Ensure the full programme scope as well the Business KPIs are properly tested before handing the solution over for business testing
  • Understand, review and approve or QA the testing deliverables as per agreed roles and responsibilities
  • Overall test automation testing governance across all testing phases. Accountable to ensure automation testing KPIs are met.
  • Work together with the GCP Platform teams to ensure proper test env utilization and reduce the Cloud utilization costs,
  • Test issues and risk management.
  • Quality Control the results of Unit testing, IIT and PTC to ensure full scope and data is properly validated. Work together with Global Nucleus Test manager (responsible for cross markets alignment) to ensure lessons learnt from previous Nucleus rollouts are considered.
  • Contribute to lessons learnt library.

  • Drive the UAT preparation and execution. Support business unit to define the UAT scope.
  • Control of SI contract fulfilment through test activity related to the main releases which lead to formal acceptance of the solution
  • Provide the CAB approval for testing
  • Monitor the project schedule to meet the deadlines;
  • Be the Vodafone Central Team interface with Local Market PMs / Tech Leads (F bands and above) on all testing related escalations for transformation programmes
