About the role The Programme Coordinator will ensure the smooth running of Youth Music's grants programme and provide effective office administration.

Job description Programme Coordinating programme assessment panel meetings including the preparation and circulation of papers, minuting decision meetings and providing full administrative support from application to grant award.
Coordinating weekly grants monitoring and related payment processing, including notification to grantholders.
Coordinating the weekly schedule of monitoring requirements and tasks, and communicating this amongst the team.
Supporting the allocation of applications to the external assessment team.
Carrying out financial compliance checks while processing grantholder payments and assisting in the analysis of financial statements of prospective grantholders.
Providing support to applicants and grantholders to assist with queries about Youth Music's grants programme and our online grant management system.
Coordinating and attending grantholder events and training.
Updating and maintaining CC Grant Tracker (grants management database) with accurate information.
Scheduling yearly funding application rounds on the grants management database.
Coordinating communications with grantholders and Youth Music Network users, including responding to queries via email and phone, creating newsletters, and posting on the Youth Music Network Twitter.
Updating the Youth Music Network with grant deadlines and documents.
Uploading grantholder reports onto Nvivo (qualitative analysis software) database, and developing and maintaining a grants resource library.
Office Processing supplier invoices, income reports and credit card statements.
Managing the petty cash reimbursement and reconciliation process.
Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Person Specification Essential Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role.
Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to process and interpret financial information with a high degree of accuracy.
Good communication skills.
A 'hands on' approach with the ability to coordinate others to work proactively towards upcoming deadlines.
IT skills, with experience of using databases and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Desirable Experience of working within a cultural, charitable or funding organisation.
An interest in music - of any genre.
