A great opportunity for a commercially astute and adaptable individual to play a key role in coordinating and executing the commercial and product activities that contribute towards the successful implementation of the Motor and Home transformation programme in the UK and Ireland.

Ideally, you will have experience working in the financial services industry in order to bring the balance of insurance, commercial and project knowledge to the role.

You will be responsible for managing and delivering the Products, Contracts & Services workstream plan, coordinating and seeking inputs from subject matter experts as required.

This will include acting as a local product owner in the UK for a new product and policy management digital tool (currently being built) and representing the local interests in the wider global programme to ensure positive commercial outcomes of the new technology.

You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders and put your own stamp on an evolving workstream in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Day-to-day activities Project ManagementOwn and iterate the project plan for all commercial, products & services activity in the UK Transformation ProgrammeHighlight, monitor, and escalate risk and issues in a timely manner, mitigating where possibleCoordinate and lead a matrix team of subject matter experts to deliver to milestonesRepresent the UK at global level across new technology products, planning, and wider commercial transformation initiatives.

Report on status weekly through delivery meetings and provide written and verbal updates as required to sales, marketing and distribution leadership teams.

  • Commercial Act as the commercial domain lead, working with global counterparts to align on vision and plan; translate this into local plans and activities;
  • oversee the implementation of any change to operating model in the commercial space; identify gaps or issues between global vision and / or plans and local ambition and constraints.

    Responsible for leading and managing the core commercial activities required including contract analysis, partner database integration activity and modelling policy wording and evaluation of standard services’ applicability to the UK marketAct as the local product owner for the new commercial technology assets to be rolled out in the UK.

  • This will include sharing local requirements with global counterparts; building local use cases and validating the build of the new assets;
  • leading the implementation activities required to get the new assets live.Responsible for leading all preparatory tasks to make the new technology assets live including configuration of assets for UK use, creation of use cases and liaison with Testing Manager and users to ensure robust testing prior to releaseResponsible for preparing the standard operating procedures and processes required for the commercial team (Sales, Marketing and Distribution), and wider business, to make effective use of the new technology in service of benefits deliveryHard skill and experience It would be great if your background involved working in B2B commercial or account management functions, ideally with a service based proposition, and have experience of implementing new process in service of achieving commercial and customer outcomes.

    You must have some understanding of how B2B contracts and insurance policies are constructed, ideally in an insurance services context.

    You will need to have experience in a technology-related transformation project, working to deliver and report to a plan across a matrix organisation.

    You should have an understanding of the key phases which constitute a change programme.About you You are exceptionally execution-driven with the ability to work with new technologies with an understanding of process automation and implementation tasks.

    Because of your flexible and adaptable approach, you are able to work in potentially ambiguous situations with the ability to digest complex information and summarise concisely in order to set clear actions and outcomes, and articulate the message to a variety of audiences.

    You have a relentless drive for continuous improvement and strong propensity to persevere in a moving and fluid environment.
