Oxford Medical Illustration hosts the Trust’s award-winning in-house clinical photography team, providing a comprehensive clinical and PR photography service on behalf of Oxford University Hospitals and its partner organisations.
Our current Head of Photography is retiring, and we now invite applications from experienced senior clinical photographers to take on the role.
With a minimum of five year’s professional experience at a senior level, you will provide professional hands-on leadership to manage, develop and inspire our clinical photography team with your commitment to continuous improvement.
You will already know the technical requirement of this role and be confident in guiding your new team to achieve the highest professional standards.
As well as being passionate about photography, you will share our commitment to deliver compassionate excellence and support our desire to make a real contribution to modern healthcare practice.
You will be a gracious team player, leading your team and supporting the Head of Design and Marketing, across a range of medical, marketing, recruitment and PR projects all delivered to the highest professional standards.
The service is based at the prestigious John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and, if successful, you will enjoy working in purpose-built studios with the latest digital photographic equipment and image management systems.
This is a specialist role, so a Degree in Medical Illustration (or equivalent) is essential. You will be AHCS registered and able to offer an impressive portfolio showcasing a range of technically proficient clinical photography as well as a suite of creative and contemporary PR photography.
