A renowned digital Acting, Film and auditions agency in Islington, who host over2.3 million members are seeking a Senior PHP Developer.

Role :

We are looking for a talented and driven PHP / Full Stack Developer to join our development team.

  • Time management skills with some possibility of multitasking if required a key player in the Technology and management team
  • Responsibilities :

  • Develop maintainable web applications with a solid architecture
  • Maintain and manage legacy PHP code
  • Own individual projects and take complete responsibility for them
  • Assist in improving and maintaining technical documentation
  • Ability to get involved with technical infrastructure design
  • Essential Experience :

  • 3+ Years LAMP Stack Experience (Linux Cent OS / Apache / MySQL / PHP)Understanding of OO principles & good coding standards
  • Experience having dealt with REST APIs
  • Experience working with MVC frameworks (Laravel, Fuel etc)
  • Familiar with web front end technologies (HTML / CSS / Javascript and Javascript frameworks).
  • Hands-on development experience of web front ends a distinct advantage.
  • Experience working with ReactJS or keen to learn ReactJS
  • Interaction with Amazon Cloud Services (EC2 / SQS / SNS / S3 / Elastic Transcoder)
  • Able to express technical ideas clearly
  • Some experience with Linux is preferable
  • Bonus Experience :

  • experience working in an Agile environment
  • Previous experience with TDD / PHPUnit
  • Experience performing code review.
