FREE NOW is looking for a motivated and experienced Head of Regional Marketplace Performance (m / f / d) who will lead a team of demand and supply experts.
In this role you will work closely together with local general managers and senior management to develop and implement pricing & growth strategies, and improve competitive positioning.
Responsible for a country cluster P&L to achieve top line growth and contribution margin targets
Identify shortcomings of our two-sided marketplace based on KPIs and steer & allocate marketing spend on brand, digital performance and passenger & driver incentives in cluster of countries
Decision making for effective funds allocation and acquisition and retention strategies
Responsible for supply and passenger budget forecasts, allocation, acquisition and retention strategy and performance (KPIs, cost, LTV)
Develop, review and influence monthly and quarterly budget forecasts with Finance & Operations
Discuss and validate country transfers to optimise performance based on trend
Discuss and validate major strategic decisions (pricing change, large investments)
Be a decision leader & coordinator between Finance, Data, Marketing, Product, Local teams
Collaborate with local operation managers and local marketing, central marketing and data teams to validate the driver incentives (bonus, commission, referral, loyalty program, online performance)
Ideate and execute revenue generating initiatives (like new fleet type launches, price changes, fees)
Lead the development and rollout of frameworks and tools for decision making across the organisation, in collaboration with data and product teams
Ideating, pitching and executing proposals to maximise revenue (e.g. new features, new product line, new revenue models)
7+ years of work experience, including at least 2 years experience in strategy, growth, performance management or a similar position in a Marketplace industry
2+ years of team management experience
Data driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation
Strategic thinker : able to see the big picture and balance long-term vision with short and medium-term goals
Innovative mindset focused on doing things better and faster
Strong collaboration, and communication skills and ability to synthesise information
Ability to drive decision making across multiple departments and senior stakeholders
Experience with marketing channels and demand / supply management (targeting, segmentation, incrementally, LTV)
Ride-hailing, micro-mobility or food delivery industry knowledge and experience would be a strong plus
