Learn Laravel & VueJS!. Remote working opportunities & a heated outdoor pool in the office. £1K annual training budget & excellent scope for career progression & development.

I'm currently helping an award-winning web platform & environmental consultancy to find a PHP Web Developer to join their team.

The business focuses on helping minimalise e-waste for electronic manufacturers through expert consultancy and web-based reporting.

They are now looking to bring their web development team in-house (They are 14 strong internally with two outsourced developers) to further develop their cloud-

based web platform to meet the needs of their ever-growing international client base. With lovely offices just outside of Bath they are expanding at an exponential rate and this role would play an integral part in that journey.

What you’ll be doing. You will take responsibility for developing & maintaining the company’s award-winning web application, taking ownership of implementation to drive the platform forwards.

As well as this you will work closely with the Product Owner to ensure all business needs are met on-time, mainly focusing on the technical aspect but also involving yourself in designing UX solutions for any new & existing requirements on the application.

The company are looking for self-starters who are open and willing to progress and learn new technologies, eventually taking ownership of their own team and supporting / mentoring junior developers as the business grows.

What experience you’ll need. Significant knowledge of PHP7 and its related frameworks. Extensive experience with HTML, CSS and Sass.

Proven knowledge of JavaScript and its various libraries. An understanding of UI (Bootstrap). Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Any knowledge of Laravel or VueJS would be desirable but they are offering training on them if you don't!. What you’ll get in return for your talents.

On top of a generous salary (£25-30K with 10% raise after 3 months) the business offers a range of benefits which includes an annual bonus scheme, company laptop & smartphone, 5% pension, Perkbox membership, life cover and a Cycle2Work scheme.

As well as this, there are bi-annual reviews with constant opportunities for progression and you can work remotely up to 3 days a week following probation.

Even better again, the business has their own outdoor heated swimming pool for the office to make use of (not even joking), and are even building their own games room and café for early next year!.

What's next?. Sound good to you? Please send your CV to Joe or give us a call to find out more!.
