Rexel UK are currently looking to recruit for a Regional HR Business Partner on a 10 month fixed term contract.

Partnering with our Denmans banner, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at a strategic and influential level within a global business.

  • The main focus of this role will be to build and maintain strong working relationships with heads of functions and business leaders, whilst providing counsel on;
  • organisation effectiveness, talent management, leadership and rewards components of business strategy

    The Role :

  • Understand the business strategy for the relevant banner / function
  • Translate this business strategy into a Human Resources plan that will be delivered by all aspects of the HR function
  • Leadership assessment, development and succession planning (RMR), career development dialogues with key talent
  • Culture initiatives including assisting the organisation to define its cultural values / behaviours, supporting the organisation is living these values, reviewing employee feedback through SatisfaXion and driving necessary action plans and changes
  • Organisational design for optimum performance including spans and layers, knowledge management, deepening capability in growth areas
  • Team dynamics in leadership team
  • Headcount working with business leader and Finance to get clarity on headcount plan and recruitment requirements
  • Communicating and driving standard HR programmes and ensuring they are used through the business performance reviews, personal development plans
  • Global grading of jobs and managing compensation to market levels
  • Resourcing / strategic workforce planning / cost optimisation
  • Capability development
  • The Person :

  • Generalist HR leader with experience of working at a senior level as part of a business management team
  • Talent identification, assessment and development of a diverse workforce
  • Working within a national matrixed organisation
  • Ability to lead, manage and influence in a dynamic HR environment with ongoing rapid change and ambiguity
  • Analytical able to cut through multiple sources of data and discern actionable information
  • Business acumen with an ability to understand business issues and add value to their resolution
  • Hands-on approach able to work across a broad range of groups from employees to internal customers
  • Able to communicate clearly to a broad audience
