We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to own, coordinate and manage the organisation and delivery of capital project works and key client projects for our Justice & Immigration (J&I) Facilities Management (FM) contracts.
The successful post holder will be reporting to Head of Projects, they will coordinate internal and external resources, work closely with establishment’s FM and Operational teams, Procurement and third parties / vendors / consultants for the flawless execution of projects.
They will ensure that all capital projects are delivered on-time, within scope and to budget, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
The Capital Works Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of multiple projects over multiple sites predominantly in the Southern regions with minimal supervisory input but providing cover on a national UK basis as required.

What you need to do the job :
We are looking for experience over qualifications somebody who has a strong track record of managing multiple small, medium and large-scale mechanical & electrical projects simultaneously across multiple sites.
We are looking for someone with both quantitative and qualitative research skills.
This is an opportunity for someone with In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations. Have a technical background and time served experience (preferably Electrical and / or Mechanical).
It is essential that they have a proven working experience as a project manager (or similar role) delivering multiple technical projects.
It goes without saying the role requires excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Although Southern based, this is a National role, expectation to travel, be flexible with working hours, weekend and out of hours working maybe required to meet the needs a specific project.
