Position : Workshop Controller

Location : Bristol

Hours : Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm (42.5hrs)

Contract : Permanent

Workshop Controller position

My client, a multi-site fleet maintenance company is looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Controller for their busy workshop in Bristol

The Workshop Controller will be responsible for

  • Running VOR reports in the morning / end of day to customers
  • Scheduling all jobs / work to the HGV technicians for the duration of shift
  • Booking parts out and ordering parts / consumables
  • Quality control work on vehicles
  • All general day to day administration related to the role
  • Experience required for the Workshop Controller

  • Workshop Controller experience is essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • You will either have experience working on HGV vehicles and / or the qualifications to do so and ideally worked on a variety of commercial vehicles.
  • City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
