Support Worker Advert. Our client supports people living with disabilities, illness / injury, multiple complex needs, and behaviours that challenge.
Their service in Morden supports adults and young people with learning disabilities. Their aim is to help their service users enjoy active, fulfilling lives in their own community through supported living and residential services.
As a Support Worker you will be empowering service users to live as independently as possible, and also support them in their daily lives including personal care.
Applicants should have the following : . Skills required. Outstanding communication skills (Verbal, written and electronic).
Excellent decision making. Ability to work under pressure. Flexible, adaptable and 'cando’ attitude. Caring and Compassionate towards others.
Able to follow instructions and procedures. Be punctual and have good work ethics. 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people.
Be able to drive which is desirable but not essential. Essential Requirements. Right to work in the UK. Clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Have a minimum of 6 months experience. Ideally NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care - Not essential. Have all the mandatory training certificates in date or be willing to undergo training.
