Your day to day

We are recruiting for a Global Brand Supply Chain Director Upscale & Luxury

at IHG. A true business partnering role where your remit will be to lead IHG’s brand hotel procurement globally for Upscale and Luxury brands to ensure end-

to-end optimized supply chains to drive competitive advantage for Owners and IHG.

In the role, you will be able to bring lifestyle and luxury innovation and partnerships to ensure IHG as a partner of choice for Owners / investors.

Key responsibilities & activities :

  • Leading design of global supply chain strategy for Upscale & Luxury brands on a worldwide basis
  • Scout and harvest innovation from the supply chain into the brand teams by leveraging rest of Procurement & supply markets
  • Translate brand develop strategies into briefs for category team sourcing
  • Commercialise brand programmes and supply chains to ensure delivery of IHG and owner ROI
  • Coordinate brand programs across multiple projects, categories and global teams to drive supply chain leverage
  • Co-creation of designing and delivering guest experiences and optimising cost whilst understanding regional nuances in upscale, lifestyle and luxury guest needs translating to improved CPK and owner preference for IHG brands
  • Coach and mentor Procurement colleagues to understand nuances of Upscale and Luxury especially when supporting sub-regions markets such as Middle East, Japan and China
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
  • establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed with a focus on Asia supply chain capabilities
  • What we need from you

    To be successful, you will have a wealth of experience in this procurement, coupled with a relevant business degree (MBA preferred).

    Your procurement / supply chain experience will span 10+ years with at least 3+ years on Upscale, Lifestyle or Luxury brands.

    You will bring your strong project management skills, coupled with your ability to build strong collaborative relationships at the most senior levels within IHG.

    You will have demonstrable experience driving and delivering innovation into the business and in commercialising product and solution design for brand programs including global supply chains.
