Eight exciting opportunities to join our Customer Assistance team as a Specialist Collector have become available at either our Crossflatts , West Yorkshire or Doxford , Sunderland offices.

You will effectively handle customers who are suffering from financial hardship, using your expertise to create a specialist approach in dealing with their arrears situation.

Your skill in complex case management will help to reach mutually beneficial arrangements that satisfy the customer requirements and Computershare’s commercial objectives.

Start date : We are looking for you to be able to start with us on 19 November 2018 , whereby you will join our Academy Team to ensure you are suitably trained and provided with the required skill and knowledge to succeed in this role.

Salary : up to £20,000 p / a + quarterly performance related bonus scheme Working pattern : Rotating Shift Patterns across our centre opening hours which include : Monday Friday 8am 9pm, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 08 : 30am to 6 : 30pm Main Responsibilities In this role you will be working closely with customers who are suffering serious financial hardship by working with them to identify and implement solutions to assist with their mortgage arrears.

You will effectively handle complex possession cases while working with our Legal Service Providers to reach a successful outcome.

Ideally you will hold experience of managing cases in a way that minimises loss for the customers and Computershare. Your main responsibilities will be to : Establish and maintain inbound and outbound contact with customers and implement appropriate solutions

  • Identify customers who would benefit from receiving mortgage advice
  • Manage cases effectively throughout various phases
  • Handle complex receivership, litigation or possession cases
  • To liaise with third parties and internal stakeholders to agree the most effective course of action
  • The Ideal Candidate In this role you will need to take ownership and manage your own work through to conclusion. You will also have :

  • Knowledge of litigation and loss mitigation methods
  • Knowledge of debt advice and third party support is desirable
  • Flexibility in your approach to work
  • Ability to effectively communicate within your team
  • Knowledge of Systems, Word and Excel
  • Ability to understand your role and the impacts of the decisions you will be making
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
