PURPOSEOF THE ROLE .
Responsiblefor managing the company's marketing initiatives to grow awareness withprospects and deliver value and thought leadership for existing Abacus Alliancemembers.
Workwithin the annual budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans. Workclosely with the commercial teams to ensure marketing supports the businessgoals
Manageplanned marketing activity while identifying initiatives to improve what we do
Develop and create relevant content,including case studies, literature, annual trends report, presentations, emailand web copy, blogs and event copy & collateral
Organise and manage all internallyproduced events from planning through to execution. This includes the annualcompany kick-
off, biannual Insights client conferences and Direct Mail Masterclassprogramme for potential Alliance members
Manage third-party sponsorship / eventopportunities, identify potential opportunities to work with our sistercompanies (Epsilon and Conversant) and select external partners.
Plan and execute external exhibitions
Manage the corporate website to ensureit remains up to date with relevant materials and blog postings
Project manage the Annual Trends Reportworking with the cross-company teams to ensure timeous delivery which includesconducting / writing up all interviews, identifying additional third-
partycontent, working with the designer on the development of the report anddistribution of the electronic and printed versions to clients
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED .
B2B marketing experience where the focus has beenon lead generation and nurturing
Confident self-starter with the ability to workautonomously or with little guidance
Practical hands-on experience with a can-do’ attitude
Excellent written English, as a large componentof the role is content creation
Strong project management skills to deliverthought leadership and prospecting events
Managing and briefing external suppliers
Relationship building, liaising withcross-company teams, external partners, vendors and clients
Budget setting and management
Proficient with Hubspot as an outbound marketing tool andwebsite platform
