As an intern within the Project Management team, you will have a great opportunity to learn skills including Project, Risk and Portfolio Management.

Being part of the IT Infrastructure & Operations team opens the possibility of engaging with a world-wide CME Network including teams in Belfast, Singapore, Chicago, New York, London & Bangalore.

Position Responsibilities :

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of the business, such as :

  • Building Project Management skills : contributing to, and engaging with full lifecycle : Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, through to Closure.
  • Risk management development : Planning, Identification, Analysis & Response.
  • Cost management : Estimating, determining budget and controlling costs.
  • Portfolio Management : including Prioritisation, Supply / Demand Management, Budgeting & Project Forecasting.
  • Communications management : Planning, managing and controlling.
  • Essential Criteria :

  • Highly engaged and assertive.
  • Bias for accountability and decision making, as well as aspiring towards leadership.
  • Close attention to detail, excellent logic, and solution orientation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willing to work in a team environment; flexibility to work on multiple disparate tasks.
