Co-ordinate and manage Inventory through the Distribution Centre and to Retail stores for PFS EU.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1) Control the flow of stock to the Distribution Centre
Partner with the Distribution centre & traffic teams to ensure visibility of delivery movement in an accurate and timely manner, Monitoring SLA’s
Work with external teams and business partners to develop a clear reporting deck to inform the business of stock movements and exceptions
Provide regular communication with the Buying and Planning teams to report variances against planned receipts intake.Provide analysis, actions and follow up.
Produce, implement & monitor a critical path timeline for business partners to follow regarding Season launch.
Manage inventory calendar (x-dock / pre packs & season launches)
Regularly re-forecast Inbound units, DC ownership & Source
Manage vendor compliance relationship
Monitorcosts associated with value added services within the DC
Manage and control method of transport costs and offsite warehouses
2) Support the flow of stock to Retail Stores
Support the flow of inventory between the DC and stores through partnership with all business division’s ensuring best practice and clear visibility of the process.
Forecast store inventory, cover & deliveries experience with sales history, forecasts, sales budgets, cover & store capacity metrics
Partner with the retail planning analysts for forecasts and planning teams for promotional activity and changes to plans
Support allocation target setting process
Build inventory in stores for future events, understanding the impact of public holidays and special events
Manage new store launches / stock builds
Partner with the store operations & store managers to set store capacity and manage delivery scheduling
Partner with DC and Outbound Traffic teams to ensure visibility of delivery movement in an accurate and timely manner.
Manage weekly updates with the supply chain team in Italy to resolve any delivery issues for stores.
Regular communication with the Buying and Planning teams to report changes in originally planned In-store receipts and to ensure appropriate seasonal launch.
Set out timelines, monitor and track progress on stock movement relating to new store openings.
Monitor, track and account for Express deliveries, Re-ticketing,
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience within a European wide logistics role
Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross functional teams.
High user level of MS Excel.
Proficient in retail Maths.
Strong analytical skills.
Highly organised, detail orientated and accurate.
An ability to be a problem solver, while working under own initiatives
