Craft’s Business Development group is a small team of new business experts. We wear many hats. We drive growth for the company, set the ambition, cultivate leads and help orchestrate the presentation of business strategy, technology & creative ideas during pitches.

Craft is seeking a Business Development Coordinator for our EMEA business to help realise our ambitious growth targets across the region.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer for EMEA you will be agile, entrepreneurial, highly organised and have outstanding business copywriting skills.

You’ll be able to craft compelling RFIs, RFPS, proposals and case studies as well as supporting pitch teams at every stage of the new business process, including assessing initial opportunities, collaborating with key internal stakeholders on pitch deliverables, interfacing with prospective clients, and creating written RFI / RFP responses, helping bring together pitch decks and supporting assets such as pitch videos and co-ordinating key meetings and milestones along the pitch process

The role will also see you provide research and outbound marketing support, campaign development and implementation to assist and report into the Chief Growth Officer in the creation of new top of funnel opportunities.


Tasks include developing proposal and pitch materials, developing internal credential materials, and maintaining communications with prospective clients and other IPG agencies.

An ability to multi-task and prioritize is critical to the success of this role, which requires you to frequently collaborate with others to produce proposals.

  • Managing pitch process and deliverables for small scale pitches
  • Assisting in the management of large integrated pitches from RFP to Final Presentation
  • Assists prepping research on new business clients, pitches and prospects
  • Coordinate in internal new business meetings and status meetings
  • Support with production printing needs for pitches as well as schedule and liaise with presentation designers
  • Work in tandem with the Chief Growth Officer to develop prospect targets
  • Assists with compiling information for Request For Proposals and Request for Information
  • Support in gathering credentials, case studies and general agency information
  • Co-ordinate the writing and production of case studies in both presentation and video format
  • Maintaining new business files and inventory and ensure they are regularly updated
  • Own and manage project timelines, logistics and deliverables schedules, meeting agendas and notes.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our industry, products and services, as well as those of our competitors and clients. Including client and competitor research.
  • Determine need for outside vendors and oversees their work as necessary.
  • Assign jobs to presentation specialists according to operator skill and customer deadline
  • Coordinate with Proofreading to edit to client instructions and for correct grammar, spelling
  • Support on the research, creation and delivery of outbound marketing campaigns including email and telephone follow up to new prospects to create future pitch opportunities
  • All of these areas will be required across both the Craft Team in EMEA and on occasion working with companies within both McCann Worldgroup and our ultimate parent company, The Interpublic Group of Companies
  • Skills and Experience

  • Outstanding business copywriting skills
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritise effectively
  • Strong communication skills and desire to take pride and ownership of their work
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills as well as strongminded personal abilities
  • Passion and knowledge of agency business, industry trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, project management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Adapt to unforeseen circumstances
  • A self-starter, highly organised, knowledge hungry and able to work well with employees.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • While not essential it would be highly advantageous if you have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite and specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Equally fluency in German, French or Spanish would also be highly beneficial but not essential
  • Please note, candidates at final interview stage will be tested on their written and presentation skills

    Our brand new studio is based in Bishopsgate as part of the McCann World Group, IPG. However, this role is fully remote and we are open on the location of the candidate
