We are looking for an experienced and motivated People Director to lead a strategic approach at Isabel Hospice (IH) to deliver an outstanding People Service that encompasses all volunteers and paid staff.
With a focus on operational excellence and efficiency you will provide expert HR advice and strategic direction and be responsible for the day- to -day management and development of the HR and Volunteering Team.
You will be the subject matter expert and support the People Function with dealing with complex employee relations cases and HR matters.
You will lead the objective to improve and streamline all HR and Volunteering processes in line with best practice and optimise the use of digital technology to support the performance of the Hospice.
You will be an experienced People Professional who is MCIPD accredited and educated to degree level or equivalent. Your background will demonstrate significant and wide-ranging experience in HR Leadership roles, preferably across health sectors.
Your board experience across wider People functions will include an oversight and understanding of organisational development and effectiveness.
You have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence in public speaking, and ability to maintain effective relationships with all levels of staff across the organisations.
Experience of leading significant volunteer teams would be an advantage.
