Business Development Executive

Role

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative in the logistics industry to cover Northern Ireland and the UK.

The candidate will be responsible to help us increase sales and address customer needs. The responsibilities include presenting our services to existing and potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics and recommending ways to promote and sell our services.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals.

  • Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned regions;
  • Identify local business opportunities and challenges;
  • Report on regional sales results on a weekly basis;
  • Present our services to prospective customers;
  • Identify customer needs and recommend service solutions;
  • Work closely with sales people and other internal teams to meet individual and sales quotas;
  • Answer customer questions about services and pricing;
  • Collaborate with management to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach;
  • Criteria :

  • Min 4 years experience as a Sales Representative;
  • Familiarity with the logistics industry would be an advantage, but not essential;
  • A degree in Marketing or Diploma in Sales and Marketing would be an advantage;
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to think and plan strategically;
  • Ability to generate new ideas;
  • Experience with Customer and Business Relation Management practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships;
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Prioritizing time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs;
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback;
