About the role
The Country Director UK will be responsible for leading our UK Sales business and leading the UK office. You will ensure that we are continuing to partner with the UK’s top brands and agencies, hitting the region’s revenue targets and building a high-performing, successful team.
The role reports into the MD for Northern Europe.
What you will be doing
Responsible for the achievement of the regional revenue, margin and EBITDA targets for the UK.
Responsible for the development and execution of the company's business strategies for the UK in order to increase revenue and achieve the goals set in conjunction with the MD for Northern Europe.
Leading, motivating and driving a team to success. Identifying where your team needs support and encouragement to achieve their targets.
Fill management gaps by building and training individuals and teams.
Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
Provide strategic guidance and input as well as identify growth opportunities to the MD Northern Europe and CRO so they will have an accurate view of the market.
Be the Voice of the UK’ across the global business. You will be a prominent leadership figure in the UK office and be responsible for bringing teams / departments together , fostering an engaged and motivated office.
Work directly with adops and supply team to ensure that the departments are working effectively to meet business and client objectives.
Ensure that your business is building and maintaining commercial relationships with regional brands and agencies.
Oversee the regional budget and P&L, manage operation costs, identify cost-savings, allocate resources, monitor financial activities.
Work closely with the HR and Talent function on identifying talent, reward and recognition, career development, and managing all through the employee lifecycle.
Work closely with Leadership to boost the company’s brand presence and think of creative ways to strengthen its profile.
Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times
Proven experience in a sales leadership role where you have been selling an ad-tech solution into brands or agencies.
You have a solid and extensive network in the programmatic and advertising space and are able to leverage these contacts for commercial partnerships for the business.
You have led and managed large teams before, with experience being the lead for a particular regional office, ideally in a matrix organisation overseeing numerous functions.
You are an inspirational leader getting the best from your team.
You cultivate a performance mindset in your teams and know how to best manage this and get the most from your team.
You understand the operational processes of running a sales business and work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies.
Strong decision making ability, you take accountability for yourself and your team and the office.
