We are looking for a Revenue Operations Executive to innovate , win , and grow with us.
Working as part of a busy Finance department, the Revenue Operations Team is a key team within the business. They are responsible for all order processing , software & hardware fulfilment , hosting access, support contract creation and invoicing out of GBS regions;
working to strict month end deadlines , revenue recognition rules and Sarbanes Oxley guidelines. This is an internal team with a strong customer focus.
Job Responsibilities :
Delight our customers by :
Ensuring customer orders have been through the correct approval channels to meet all contractual, legal and business requirements.
Verifying customer orders have been completed to a minimum standard to ensure that delivery expectations can be met
Entering customer orders onto accounting software within set SLA
Despatching customer orders (electronic and physical media) & licence key generation
Creating customer support contracts
Raising all customer invoices for GBS
Raising customer credit notes and re-invoicing where required
Work together by :
Liaising with the Account Managers to ensure orders meet required standards
Working with Product Marketing to ensure latest software is despatched
Producing ad hoc sales information and / or reports within finance and the wider business
Working with Project Teams and support to ensure customers have a working solution
Reporting and communicate critical metrics
Working with the Revenue Operations Team Leader and other teams to drive continuous improvement
Innovating by :
Partake in the integration of acquired companies into standardised processes
Analyse and identify opportunities for process improvement
Proactively drive items to closure
Any other projects or duties that may arise.
Constantly improving by :
Understand and apply internal controls consistently
Maintaining up to date procedure documents relating processes
Proactively look for ways to improve performance and reduce SLAs
Skills, Knoweldge and Experience required :
Qualifications : 5 GCSE grades C or Above including Maths & English (or equivalent)
Working within a Finance / Revenue or an Orders team
A quick learner
Thoughtful with exceptional attention to detail
Flexible in their work to allow involvement in project work
Professional communicator both by email and phone
Multi-tasker and enjoys high volume of work
Ambitious, self-motivated and proactive
Preferred experience :
Working for a software company / technology sector
Working with the following software or systems; MSD AX accounting system, Salesforce CRM system, Excel and Word.
Some familiarity or general understanding of revenue recognition and / or Sarbanes Oxley would be advantageous.
Written and spoken French and / or German would be an advantage but not essential
