Job Description

The role is new and has been made available by recent significant acquisitions and integrations

  • Managing and overseeing the accounts for a portfolio of small property related companies
  • Handling each of these property companies, including the TB and statutory account preparation
  • Managing certain subsidiaries that are under audit and preparing statutory accounts for such entities.
  • Reconciliating financial information and investigating any discrepancies with wider business members
  • Taking full ownership and being the key contact point for the wider business relating to all of these companies.
  • Building relationships with relevant commercial departments and acting as a business partner for financial / numerical queries
  • Supporting commercial departments through reconciliation of multiple data sources and communicating variances back for review
  • Supporting group & statutory audits with all balance sheet category related data / audit requests
  • Supporting more junior members of the team on an ad-hoc basis to ensure efficiencies and staff development
  • Qualifications

  • Part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, ideally exam finalist (study support provided)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in practice, preferably with an audit and statutory accounts preparation background
  • Excellent IT system skills, in particular MS Excel
